Ken Osborne (the guy doing the sweeping above) was pulled
from 'retirement' in 1980 to compete against Mexico team...

Originally, Ken was the number two man in Chuck Norris's karate organization.  After attending a 1966 SKA special training, Osborne was 'hooked' and has followed Ohshima Sensei ever since.

1964 photo shows Ken Osborne in suit, 3rd from right, a 5th dan from Korea, and Chuck Norris with students.
